    They are friends, he's a dragon but he doesn't eat all kinds of birds, he loves these types of animal. He prefers to eat cows and sheeps XD His name is Altair, the name was inspired from the game "bomberman 64" in which the character "Altair" was the villain of the game. He's a dragon, he isn't good nor bad, depends of his diet or mood..
