The Muppets: 80's Robot concept Picture

Working on the new (and rather fantastic) Muppet movie, I helped design the 80′s robot. At the time of creation he didn’t have an official name so I deemed him Mup-u-Tron and Mup-Bot 2000. The studio wanted to get as close to the old omni bots as possible but make them lovable, with more personality.  The final look was very close to my last design, so that is pretty great to see.

Going on set for the Muppet theatre was my childhood dreams come to life, what fun!
